Your pictures, as a place people can walk
Upload a drawing, a photo, a collage, a render. Publish a URL. Visitors stand in the picture — they do not scroll a feed of it. Creation is free. There is no page builder and no game engine to learn first.
What it is
ThinkWith.Pictures is a collaborative world of linked, hand-built picture scenes. A scene starts as an image. You place objects on that picture, give them behaviors, and link the scene to others. Someone who opens your public scene is standing in the picture. They can look around, pick things up, follow a door, read a book, or talk to something you left there.
A post on ArtStation or Instagram is a still. A Carrd page is a stack of blocks. A Unity project is a year. Here the art is the site: one scene, objects that open other scenes, a PNG you can paste on a shop. The picture is not a thumbnail of a separate product. It is the place.
The world model
Scenes
A scene is a background image plus whatever you put on it. You organize scenes in folders, set whether guests may enter, and choose whether a scene can be reached only through another object. A published scene with guests allowed has a stable public URL.
Objects and items
Objects sit on the scene. Items live in inventories, can be sent to other players, and can be forged with custom behaviors — cooldowns, required items, containers, styling. Magic segmentation can cut an object out of the background itself.
Links
Scenes connect. An object can lead to another scene, so a room, a gallery wall, or a story page is one hop from the last. Short links and unique access rules let you control who arrives, and from where.
You build a scene by placing objects on a background, then link it to other scenes so visitors can walk between them. Items are made in the Forge. Scenes you publish become publicly viewable.
Who it is for
- Artists who want a picture to be a place, not a post — and a public URL that still looks like their work when it unfurls.
- Anyone who wants a public link to their work. One scene can hold many pieces, each a door to another scene. That is a portfolio without a separate site.
- People building interactive experiences — point-and-click rooms, illustrated stories, small games — from pictures rather than from a game engine. See interactive scenes.
It is also an honest way to host an image: a public scene serves at native resolution as /<id>.png. That URL is a picture of a place you can still walk into.
Creation is free
Signed-in accounts can create. There is no paid unlock for the Forge, Scene Manager, or publishing. Strain is a daily capacity budget for storage and busy operations, not a feature gate. A Supporter subscription is $5 USD every 3 months if you want a bigger library; it does not add exclusive tools.
